Cool Shops

On the Facebook page of Style Nouveau, I promised to publicize a report from this weekend’s events  at the beginning of next week. Then I remembered that I had forgotten a post from my last stay in Italy. Starting from next weekend I will be on a journey again and the new impressions would overlay the old one.

So, I had forgotten to post pictures of some cool shops in Rimini and Parma. I know them since years already, but some of them present themselves always with a new livery.

The density of sunglasses stores in Rimini is impressive, similar to the quantity of bakeries in Germany. Two of them I find particularly beautiful and visit them every time I am there.

The brand “Brandina” exists since 2005 and is specialized in designing and manufacturing Riviera bags and other accessories made of the stout material from which the beach chairs are made. Since then, the Brandina bags are a must-have in the Italian Adriatic beaches.

In Parma, I took only some pictures at the nice boutique Gustavia, where I like to stop by when I visit the city. It is one of the few selected stores in Italy which showed exclusively the 10th anniversary collection Beneath the Clouds” of the Italian brand forte_forte.

I love the passion of forte_forte for detail: the embroidered labels of the clothes carry names like pants”, shirt” or “skirt“, and the tags are attached with a satin ribbon decorated with a little pearl or a crystal bead. In my opinion, the brand makes the best pants for small women and the best blouses for tall women. So, there is something for every type.

During my next stay in Parma, I will portray other stores, especially the numerous delicatessen and antique shops which are famous also outside Italy. Here, a foretaste of that.

Have a wonderful weekend, perhaps with some shopping inspiration….

Foreigners see things with a different eye comparing to people living in a city for years. Sometimes they even discover hidden places. Wish you a relaxed Sunday:-)
