My further stroll through Florence led me from the glittering jewelry store “Aprosio & Co.” to “Caffè Florian”, a subsidiary of the legendary “Caffè Florian” in Venice, which was founded in the year 1720.
The “Caffè Florian” on Via del Parione in Florence exists since 2006, the art exhibition spaces were opened, however, only a few days before, and I had the great pleasure to visit them. The photographs, installations and other works of art have been already shown in the past years and decades in the “Caffè Florian” during the Venice Biennale.
The chivalrous service not only made a delicious espresso, but also led me through the exhibition rooms and showed me all the art catalogues. Lost in the art, the hour flew by in a flash in the café. I hope you can feel somehow the atmosphere there through the photos.
