My Day in the Fortezza da Basso of Florence

Fortezza da Basso, die fast 500 Jahre alte Festung der Medicis, in dem die Pitti-Messen stattfindet

Fortezza da Basso, the nearly 500 year-old fortress of Medici, which hosts the Pitti fairs.

More than two weeks ago, I promised to report in detail on my visit at the Men’s Fashion Fair (Pitti Immagine Uomo) in Florence. As usual at a trade show, taking pictures is restricted therefore I would like to share with you some photos I was allowed to take.

For years, I have admired the photos of the fashion crowd posted by Scott Schuman from the Pitti Uomo in his worldwide famous blog “The Sartorialist“. It was time for me to attend the fair “live” and I was not disappointed: a race for the most imaginative exhibition stand, incredibly styled fair visitors and a very impressive appearance of the host nation Turkey under the motto “Gentlemen of Istanbul – 7 Gentlemen by 7 designer from the City on 7 Hills “.

In my opinion, the most beautiful stand at Pitti Uomo : Siviglia, a fast-growing company from Milan, focusing on the designing and the manufacturing of pants

Noch mehr Urlaubs-Gefühle auf der Messe...

In the mood for holiday….

Ein anderer sehr interessanter Messestand

Another cute exhibition stand

Chapeau für den mutigen Mann, der diese Schuhe im echten Leben tragen wird!

My hat off to the daring man, who will wear those shoes in real life!

That’s all folks! Looking forward to the next post!
